In a discussion of the need for free press, John McCain explained:

How many times have we heard Sarah Palin ask, “Do you love your freedom”?  “If you love your freedom, thank a vet!”

Remember when she praised Trump because he would “kick ISIS’s ass”.

The Pentagon spokesman revealed that “the casualties in Yemen are being assessed,” adding that AQAP female fighters “ran to pre-established positions as if they’d trained to be ready and trained to be combatants and engage with us. So, some of the enemy killed in combat are in fact female.”

President Trump authorized the operation, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) learned from an anonymous defense official.

Trump bungled this first operation as Commander-in-Chief. Trump ordered the raid without “sufficient intelligence, ground support or adequate backup preparations,” according to a Reuters report.  When things didn’t go as planned, Trump blamed President Obama, even though he was no longer the Commander-in-Chief. In fact, it has now been confirmed that “The specific operation in question was never presented to or considered by the Obama Admin for approval.”  So Trump lies about military operations as easily as he does the size of his inaugural crowd.

The most amazing thing is that Sarah Palin failed to mention this fallen soldier or her concern for him.  I guess she “thanks a vet” if its good for Trump.  She failed to respect the family of the Muslim soldier killed in the line of duty protecting his fellow soldiers.

Now Sarah has failed to thank the family of slain Navy Seals soldier,William “Ryan” Owens.  She has been conspicuously silent about honoring this fallen soldier.

William “Ryan” Owens , along with his SEAL Trident and Basic Parachutist wings, would have been qualified to wear the following awards:

Navy/Marine Corps Medal

Bronze Star w/Combat “V” (2 awards)
Bronze Star
Joint Service Commendation Medal w/Combat “V” (2 awards)
Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards)
Joint Service Achievement Medal
Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards)
Combat Action Ribbon
Joint Meritorious Unit Award (2 awards)
Good Conduct Medal (6 awards)
Presidential Unit Citation (3 awards)
National Defense Service Medal
Afghanistan Campaign Medal
Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal
Global War on Terrorism Service Medal
Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (8 awards)
He has been  posthumously awarded the Purple Heart.
John McCain, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, explained that when an American life is lost, along with other soldiers injured, and a 75 million dollar aircraft, you can’t call the operation a success.
Sean Spicer,on behalf of Trump, said that McCain owed the soldier’s family an apology.  Instead of contemplating the mission and how we could better protect our soldiers, Trump’s focus is to attack anybody who might be less than complimentary.

Bristol Palin is following in her mother’s footsteps, embarrassing herself in a rant on Facebook.  At the outset, remember Bristol never took  a college class.  She barely graduated from High School.  She’s only worked when she wasn’t dancing in a gorilla costume, sporting a pink tutu, or having babies, for a Dr. Jack Me-Off.

Perhaps because this is the third/fourth/fifth time she is pregnant, and nobody cares, she is desperate for something to do or say that will bring media attention to her.  Bristol has resorted to calling celebrities “sissies” suggesting that the celebrities are too scared to “stand for what they believe in.”  The fundamental assumption of Bristol’s rant is that the 11 celebrities believe in the message of Donald Trump, but are afraid to stand up and admit that they support him.  It never occurs to Bristol that perhaps the celebrities ARE standing up for what they believe in.  They have traded a chance to get free publicity, to stand for their principles!  Even Bristol’s post reveals that the entertainers view Trump with total disdain.  Bristol’s first named celebrity who refused to perform was Elton John.  She quoted Elton with his comment…

Thus far, the only “people” Trump’s team has secured to entertain at the inauguration are 16-year-old opera singer Jackie Evancho, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and the Radio City Rockettes—several of whom were reportedly not pleased to learn about their next gig.  Jackie Evancho was only 10 years old when she was featured on America’s Got Talent, where she was the first runner-up.

If Donald Trump were still just a regular old billionaire and threw a party at Trump Tower in New York City, celebrities would be lined up out the door, and the most famous artists would be pining for a chance to perform. But because he will be inaugurated as the next Republican president in January, these same mega-celebrities, who would normally drool over an invitation to sing for the president, want no part of it. Perhaps the Trump inaugural staff should have opted for a different performer for the Trump inauguration.  Jackie is too young for Trump, but of course Trump likes them young.

Just yesterday, the turmoil among the Radio City Rockettes was revealed.  In an interview with Marie Claire, the dancer — who goes by the pseudonym “Mary” due to fear of retribution — explained that the Rockettes were blinded by the news that they were performing at the inauguration.  Given the derogatory “locker room” comments Trump made about grabbing women by the pussy, and his controversial views on immigration and race relations, the Rockettes were rocked with conflict over the scheduled performance.  “There is a divide in the company now, which saddens me most,” Mary explained. “The majority of us said no immediately. Then there’s the percentage that said yes, for whatever reason — whether it’s because they’re young and uninformed, or because they want the money, or because they think it’s an opportunity to move up in the company when other people turn it down.”

She added that no women of color have signed up to perform at the event. “It’s almost worse to have 18 pretty white girls behind this man who supports so many hate groups,” Mary said. “They’re going to be branded in history as one of those women. How’s it going to look?”

Mary’s interview comes in the wake of Rockette Phoebe Pearl, who reportedly wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post that she felt “embarrassed and disappointed” to potentially perform at the inauguration.

Thus, Trump wants an apology from Romney for saying what he honestly thought about Trump.  Trump is now demanding the Romney lie and suggest that Trump will be a good President.  Trump is furious with Conway because she said what she honestly thinks of Trump because Trump suggested he’d forgive Romney if Romney would lie about what a great president Trump will be.  Thus, Trump was furious with Romney when he told the truth about Trump, and Trump is now furious with Kellyanne for telling the truth about Trump.  Both Romney and Conway were honestly reporting what they thought about Trump. Trump seems to be furious …not that they thought bad things about Trump, but that they said what they thought publicaly.

Perhaps the Americans who voted for Trump should apologize for promoting such a despicable person to the highest office in the land.
