Today October 12 is my friends “me too” day. She clearly remembers October 12, 1973. 45yrs ago. She remembers date, place, who and how it changed her life. She was not famous. She was a normal all american 17yr old bright eyed girl. Innocent, A senior in HS. Successful. Plans for college, a bright future. Her life changed that day. It was a turning point in her life. She remembers it clearly after 45 yrs. Post traumatic stress syndrome is difficult to heal.
