Jessica Denson sued Trump’s campaign in New York for discrimination in November. She said she suffered from emotional distress due to the “pervasive slander, aggravated harassment, attempted theft, cyberbullying and sexual discrimination and harassment” she endured at the hands of her supervisor.
Then there was Karen McDougal who sued to set aside her NDA with AMI regarding her affair with Trump.
Trump said Newman had signed a non-disclosure agreement. The agreement reportedly was signed during the Trump campaign.
It seems that Donald Trump believes he can disregard the law and societal norms for behavior, and buy the silence of his victims. For the average person, it would be hard to refuse a large payout of substantial money. However for a multi-billionaire, the payments are insignificant. The message is that Trump believes he is not required to comply with any societal mores because he can simply buy his way out.
