When the American people consider the right person to lead our country we necessarily consider the person’s age and health. Because we wish to find a leader who had good judgment, we look to choices he/she makes in their personal life, to give insight into the type of choices he/she will make as President. The choices Donald Trump makes regarding the foods he eats indicate that he is dangerous, reckless, and impervious.
Trump has a God complex. He refuses to admit the possibility of error or failure, even in the face of irrefutable evidence, intractable problems or difficult or impossible tasks. The person is also highly dogmatic in their views, meaning the person speaks of their personal opinions as though they were unquestionably correct. Someone with a god complex may exhibit no regard for the conventions and demands of society, and may request special consideration or privilege. Donald Trump’s God complex is extreme.
A person having a God complex will always believe that he is perfection personified, and will expect to be treated that way, too. According to him, he will be forever incapable of ever making a mistake, and will never accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong. The sheer number of times Trump refers to “fake news” is the perfect example of his inability to admit facts, much less accept responsibility for a mistake.
Trump’s attitudes about food are perhaps the easiest and most transparent way to recognize his God complex. Donald Trump is 71 years old. The average life expectancy of men in the United States is 76.5. An average man of 71 years old would be taking appropriate precautions to protect his health by living a relative healthy life style. Not Trump!
We all knew Trump was a fast food fanatic. However, we didn’t know the extent of his obsession. Business Insider reports that Trump is obsessed with cleanliness, and loves junk food. He also is fearful that someone might poison him and that is further reason to eat junk food.
People who drink diet soda daily are three times more likely to develop stroke and dementia than those who consumed it weekly or less, according to a study published in April in the journal Stroke.
About 400 milligrams of caffeine a day is what’s considered safe for most healthy adults, according to the Mayo Clinic. That amount is equal to four cups of brewed coffee and 10 cans of soda — two cans less than the amount Trump drinks.
That much caffeine can lead to migraines, insomnia, restlessness and muscle tremors.
The amazing thing is that Trump said he didn’t need any caffeine to wake up.
He said of coffee, “I never liked it. I never liked the caffeine thing. I really don’t need anything to wake up.”
However the most amazing thing is not that Trump likes fast food, but the quantity of fast food that he eats. Trump’s typical meal at McDonalds is two Big Macs, two Filet-o-Fish sandwiches, and a large chocolate shake. That’s an absurd 2750 calorie McDonald’s order .
But it’s not the calories alone that is so dangerous about this menu. Most medical professionals agree that “zero” is the recommended Daily Value (DV) for trans fats. One of McDonald’s signature Big Mac, contains more trans fats than the daily recommended amount.
The Recommended Daily Allowance (or RDA) of sodium for the average adult is 2,300 mg per day. Just two big macs and two fish sandwiches at McDonalds exceeds the reccomended sodium intake by 810 mg. Every diet coke has 20mg of sodium, so diet coke alone provides 240mg sodium per day.
Donald Trump uses the same judment when determining whether to build a wall, deport muslims, bomb syria, fire James Comey, have sex with a porn star, announce “mission accomplished,” or impose tariffs on Chinese goods as he does when placing his order at McDonalds.
