Trump Can No Longer Claim “Fake News” About the Russian Hacking of the 2016 Election

The Washington Post features an article today documenting that President Obama knew about Putin’s attempts to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.  Obama was briefed and imposed sanctions.  After Trump won the election, Obama accepted Trump as the winner and graciously received him in the White House.

Obama and Hillary didn’t advocate or suggest that the hacking might have cost Hillary the election.  Yet there was, and is, no suggestion that the story of Russian attempts to interfere in the election were not real.  Yet Trump has repeatedly claimed this is “fake news” and a total “hoax.”

Now that the story has been broken by the Washington Post that President Obama even knew of the hacking, Trump and Conway are trying to admit that they are actively doing something about Russia, while in-fact they are doing nothing.

Just the fact that Trump was Putin’s choice for President should be enough to make every American wonder why?  The friend of our enemy should also be our enemy!

  1. Kellyanne has never definitively said in any uncertain terms whether or not she is circumsized. So she may or may not have an extra flapjack down there, so what?

    1. Thank you, Mike from Iowa. Trump better watch out because those tennis shorts fit him so tightly they may just split apart.
