  1. As I witness the demise of one of my closest friends’ parents marriage, (36 years), I think to each her own. I also think that if a marriage between a person in politics and his/her spouse survives well after they are done with active politics, it is a true and amazing marriage. And I feel that makes non-political people bitter because they’re not as strong or lucky to be with a love like that.

    But really, are there really people who feel justified in judging another’s marriage? That’s pretty juvenile and pointless. Why victimize like that?
