The Pussy Grabber in Chief Leads Marines Who Posted Nude Photos of Female Marines

Anyone paying attention has heard Donald Trump proudly proclaiming his accomplishments with women.  He explained that he “moved on her like a bitch”.  “I better use some Tic Tacs in case I start kissing her.”  “When you’re a star they let you do anything.  You can do anything.  Grab them by the pussy.  You can do anything.”

American voters have now elected the Pussy-grabber as our Commander in Chief.  As the Commander in Chief, Trump is charged with leading the U.S. armed forces, including the Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines. The U.S. Constitution establishes this power for the president.  The Department of Defense is one of 15 executive departments that comprise the president’s cabinet. The four armed services, each headed by a chief make up the DOD. The chiefs are known collectively as the Joint Chiefs of Staff and report directly to the president.

The clear message is that if Donald Trump sets the standard for military behavior, there are no standards.

Before Trump ever became our President, the military was plagued with thousands of examples of rape and sexual assault.  Rape and sexual assault in the military has been described as an “epidemic.”  While women are considered to be at much higher risk for sexual assault in the military than their male counterparts, recent studies reveal that the problem is hardly gender specific. The Pentagon saw reports of unwanted sexual encounters jump from 19,000 in 2010 to 26,000 in 2012, with men comprising 53 percent of victims. A report released in November by the Center for American Progress, suggests that number may actually be much higher than the Pentagon’s estimate.

Outrageous examples of male rape have been documented for decades.

In January of this year, a Marines United member posted a link to an internet site which contained photos of numerous female marines in various states of undress.  Members encouraged each other to find and upload more images, it said. They also identified the women by their names, ranks and units.

The photo sharing began in the same month that the first US Marine infantry unit began receiving women.

Some of the photos are believed to have been taken surreptitiously. Other images are thought to have been consensual, but posted without permission.

The War Horse spoke with five of the women in the photographs. Two of them said they believed former partners might have leaked the images. Some said they worried their own accounts might have been hacked.

Lance Corporal Marisa Woytek told The Washington Post images were taken from her Instagram account and posted to Marines United page without her consent.  The Marine’s response to this outrageous behavior is to launch an investigation.

The web site had over 30,000 members before being shut down. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service has begun an investigation into the practice in the Marines.

Since then, it has emerged that other anonymous online message boards have been soliciting and publishing hundreds of nude photos of female personnel from other armed forces.

Speaking at a Pentagon news conference, General Neller said he did not know how many Marines were involved in the posting, or how many have been targeted.

“If you’re participating in this type of behavior in any way shape or form – you’re not helping me or your Marine Corps,” he said.  He didn’t say you’re going to jail.  He didn’t say you’re going to be dishonorably discharged.  He simply complained that the Marine involved were making his job harder.

The existence of a site dedicated solely to sharing nude photographs of female service members is another black mark for the Pentagon, which has been criticized in the past for failing to deal with rampant sexual harassment and abuse within the ranks.

As recently as 2014, a Rand Corporation study estimated that more than 20,000 service members had been sexually assaulted in 2013. Nearly six times as many reported being sexually harassed. In some cases, the military has pushed out victims of sexual assault who reported it, instead of the perpetrators.

The fact that this kind of conduct defines our military is repulsive.  The fact that Donald Trump is now at the helm, it seems that members of the military may feel empowered to continue with this unforgivable form of conduct.   Trump is advocating increased military spending of 54 Billion Dollars.

It seems unlikely that any of that money will be dedicated to investigation or prevention of the sexual abuse of members of the military by members of the military.  If this type of behavior persists, it won’t matter how much money we invest in military spending.  We will forever have a weakened military from the damage to morale that inevitably accompanies this type of behavior.

  2. Words mean something to mentally unhealthy people. Trump’s words have freed the bigots, hate groups, and predators to go after their targets, whether it be Jews, Arabs, or women. The Electoral College choice leads by dysfunction.
