Trump’s Most Outrageous and Offensive Violation of the US Constitution Yet!

Khizr Kahn spoke at the DNC in the most powerful speech given at either the RNC or the DNC.  Khan and his wife, Ghazala Khan, appeared at the Democratic National Convention in support of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and shared the story of their son, U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed during the Iraq war.  During his speech, he asked Trump if he had ever read the U.S. Constitution and said that he would gladly lend him his copy. He urged Trump to “look for the words liberty and equal protection of law” in the document. John McCain vehemently disagreed with Trump.

Trump responded  with an unforgivable attack on Mr. Kahn and his wife.  Trump suggested that creating jobs and making money from building tall buildings was a sacrifice.

Khizr Khan is an American citizen.  He was scheduled to speak in Toranto.  The planned speech was to discuss the Trump administration.  Mr. Khan has cancelled the speaking engagement after being notified that his US travel privileges were  “under review”.

Khan said he had not been given a reason as to why his travel privileges were being reviewed and apologized to ticket-holders for the cancellation. He declined to comment further in an email exchange with Reuters.

“This turn of events is not just of deep concern to me but to all my fellow Americans who cherish our freedom to travel abroad,” Khan said in the statement included in the Facebook post. “I am grateful for your support and look forward to visiting Toronto in the near future.”

U.S. Customs & Border Protection said it does not contact travelers in advance of their travel out of the United States, according to an official who said any U.S. citizen with a passport may travel out of the country. CBP would not comment specifically on the Khan case, citing privacy protections.

Mr.Khan was interviewed about the review of his travel privileges.

This “review”of travel privileges is the most egregious act of Trump yet!  It constitutes a greatest imaginable violation of Mr.Khan’s constitutional right of free speech.  It’s comparable to Trump infringing on my right to travel outside the US for medical care, because I write derogatory things about Trump on this blog.  When we are prevented from voicing disagreement with the President, we are living in a dictatorship; not a democracy.  Without the right of free speech, all other rights set out in the constitution are in jeopardy.  How can we protect our rights under the Constitution if we are unable to voice disagreement?  It is a violation of the most fundamental rights under the US Constitution for Trump to prevent Mr. Kahn from appearing in Toronto.  It is worthy of a new FOIA request that I will be publishing in the next few days.

Seth Meyers provided his commentary on Khan’s speech.

Thanks “Mike from Iowa” for the news tip!

  1. Looks like the GOP is back at it, trying to silence critics with pressure from various departments like INS and IRS. The Bush Administration used IRS to go after activists who exposed the depleted uranium radiation effects on our troops and the cities in Iraq. They did the same as critics documented the financial crimes behind the curtain of the 9/11 attacks.

My mistake was watching the attack on Camp Falcon munitions depot on the BBC. It was broadcast live. The telltale nuclear plumes from our “bunker busters” drew my attention as the Taliban lobbed mortars and RPG’s into the camp. That night, six CVA transports full of dead and wounded US troops were flown to the hospital base. Nurses and doctors sent out messages about the carnage, 500-1,000 killed, many more wounded. Next day the military reported 3 wounded. I was sending messages to Congress and reporters about the coverup. The GOP sent IRS to recalculate my returns and garnish my pension.

  2. I fear this is only going to get worse Malia. What is most alarming is that his “travel review” source of information cannot be verified by Kahn himself.
(I have seen two spellings for him…Khan and Kahn. Who cares?)

Kahn has strong ties in the state dept due to his legal profession in the area of immigration; so did someone tip him off? There does not appear to be any verification as to how he knew this. The agencies on the border and the U.S. are denying any travel news regarding Kahn’s trip to Toronto.

Kahn is not disclosing who gave him that information. I suspect he can’t. I also suspect that he is risking having his naturalization as a citizen revoked coming back into this country for a contrived lie on paperwork. Trump’s people will find a way to get even at perceived enemies.

In the extreme vernacular, this IS shitty.

I am sure you are almost frozen with your plans at this occurrence, Malia.

The link for Mr. Khan’s interview does not work. It comes up as # Forbiden.

      1. Thank you for the link, Malia. So we know that Ramsey Inc. confirmed it was an American.

I am sure this will go away quietly for now.

      1. Malia, trump has never respected the constitution in his entire life. Nor does he respect women, marriage or any form of decency and ethics. He is the face of evil along with many others aiding this attempt to bamboozle America into chaos.

  3. Link it to the HUGE Scientology Scam. David Miscavige was going to run for president but decided trump could do it instead. His audit was working out well. Now think about all the acts of terrorism in America in last few years, think about the fake news, the hacking in major communiation corporations, appliances capable of spying, fires, deaths, rigging, and Trumps “silent majority” yep, smell the swamp people aiding the enemy. They remain silent like cockroaches till the SPOTlight shines on them. Watch them scatter like dave miscavige out of the country. Get Smart!!!
