Trump Calls Russian Hack Ridiculous; Sarah Palin Laughs

It’s WWIII.  It’s a cyber war, and it has had an impact on the 2016 election.  To say that Trump wasn’t part of the conspiracy is ludicrous.  He encouraged it on national television.

Now that Trump has won the election, he claims that Russian interference didn’t happen.  Yet the evidence is overwhelming!  This site spells out the findings.

“It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia’s goal here was to favor one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected,” the Post quoted a senior U.S. official as saying. “That’s the consensus view.”

The evidence of a reason to be genuinely fearful about the involvement of Russia in the election is Trump’s recent pick for Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson. Tillerson admits he is a long-time friend of Vladimir Putin.

Trump suggests that the hack was not revealed until AFTER the election.  In fact it was reported at least as early as October 13th.   Now Trump disputes the validity of the intelligence that the hacking occurred.  In fact 17 AGENCIES HAVE CONFIRMED THE HACK, INCLUDING THE CIA.

A bipartisan group of senators, including John McCain, R-Arizona, Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, and Sen. Jack Reed, D-Rhode Island, and Republican Speaker  of the House called for an investigation into the intelligence community’s finding that Russia attempted to influence the election.

With Russia now accused of interfering in the U.S. election, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin made a crack that recalls one of her most famous lines from the 2008 campaign, when she was the Republican vice presidential nominee.

    Palin tweeted on Sunday:

  • Sarah Palin isn’t reloading!  SHe isn’t attacking the country who has hacked the most precious of American rights, the right to elect our leaders.  Sarah is laughing about it.  If she could keep an “eye on them” then she should have prevented the hack.  Since she didn’t, she must bear responsibility for not being incensed about the hack.  All of our rights guaranteed in the Constitution could be eliminated by the election of a corrupt President with ties to Russia.  It is more important than ever the the American people stand together now and demand a new election, free from influence of countries outside the United States.  If we don’t demand a new election, America will never be the same.  Because we have never been given Trump’s tax returns, we are blind to the investment in Russia that Trump might have.  We already know about the involvement of Tiller, and that is horrifying!  Imagine the damage that could be done to America by a President and Secretary of State indebted to Russia for their election/re-election.  Imagine the damage that could be done to America by a President and Secretary of State who stand to make millions/billions of dollars as a result of their relationship with a foreign leader.  Sarah Palin shouldn’t be laughing she should be re-loading!

  1. Up is down and down is up.
I truly give much blame to that Alaskan fool – Palin – for so much that was unleashed in 2008. I, naively, thought we were ready as a nation to have a black prez. I was certainly for-warned – I severed ties with some relatives because of their ignorant and unfounded hate for him. I thought my situation was an isolated incident. Quite frankly, I was caught off guard at all the hate that was out there. Palin and the Tea Party minions gave voice and power to it. At this point I don’t even know what we are dealing with (the Russian hacks, etc). I have ultimate faith in our country and the basic goodness that inspires most of us. We will survive this Trump fiasco and will go forward.

    1. Pat,
I think it will take some bold people to say what needs to be said…irrespective of party, and that may be a signal of the next leader!

      1. You have voiced something that has also been on my mind. There are several out there – and as time goes by those certain people will emerge to do this.

  2. My husband voted for Trump. I called him a low information voter. We had many heated discussions about the election. Well…..he now has voter’s remorse. I have accepted the outcome and thankfully we are comfortable enough (or I hope we are) to coast through this fiasco. Good luck America!

  3. 8 yrs ago we barely touched this raw nasty type behavior with mc palin . Poor old john!!.. That raptured lunatic with lipstick warned us of her and hubby insistence of scanning local blogs to control their enemies in her early years. And it worked well then for her. Well? she loved cruz and now don. And now?, what has been her secret quiet job lately? Baking moose cookies? Alaska has additional security info that only their gov may receive, Yep.

  4. Trump has become so bizarre that Palin is totally lost. Apparently he thinks wealthy businessmen and Russia can run the U.S. better than a 200 year old democracy.

The Republican Party allowed this catastrophe to happen so now they have a chance to fix it,and I’ll hold Paul Ryan accountable if they don’t.

I realize that any tom dick harry or jane can run for USA President but should we have a full deep dark background check by the Federal Election Committee first? and before one comes down an escalator with the atlas shrugged by ayn rand in mind and scientology in thoughts and the communist pollution of the fox no news. And then pooty stirs it. Hacks it And then don magically wins. Don said it was rigged. and it was.

  6. Back in 2008 when she was Governor she was using a Yahoo email account to get around FOIA requirements. A kid of 20 hacked into her account and she expressed happiness that he was convicted. But now that a foreign government has done it? Well that’s a real hoot to her and no need for concern.
