The Problem With Locker-Room Banter is It’s Locker Room Banter

This is the tape everyone is talking about.  Donald Trump, the man that the Republican Party has nominated as it’s representative to become the next President of the United States, used language that is so foul that most news agencies won’t print some of the words.  Trump said he wanted to, and had tried to, fuck a married woman.  Trump said as a celebrity he could do anything he wanted, including “grab her in the pussy.”

In the debate last night, Trump excused his outrageously offensive remarks as “locker room” banter.

Trump stated last night that nobody respects women more than Trump.  However Trump has time and time again disrespected women.  He’s been outspoken about his disrespect for women including his own wife.  To suggest that this is simply locker room banter is disingenuous, as Donald Trump has REPEATEDLY, AND OFTEN  disrespected women, even when speaking on radio and television.

Nothing was mentioned last night about the allegations by Trump’s first wife that he raped her and pulled out her hair.

Nothing was mentioned last night about Trump’s lawsuit by a woman who claims Trump raped her when she was only 13 years old, along with Jeffrey Epstein.   Mr. Epstein, is a convicted rapist.  He’s been out of prison since 2009, after serving 13 months in prison for soliciting sex from a minor.   Epstein was also a regular visitor to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, and the two were friends. According to the Daily Mail, Trump was a frequent dinner guest at Epstein’s home, which was often full of barely dressed models. In 2003, New York magazine reported that Trump also attended a dinner party at Epstein’s.  So what does Donald have to say about the convicted pedophile.  Trump described Epstein this way:

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years,” Trump said. “Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

As part of the investigation of Epstein,  Palm Beach police noted that a search of Epstein’s home uncovered two hidden cameras. The Mirror reported that in 2015, a 6-year-old civil lawsuit filed by “Jane Doe No. 3,” believed to be the now-married Giuffre, alleged that Epstein wired his mansion with hidden cameras, secretly recording orgies involving his prominent friends and underage girls. The ultimate purpose: blackmail, according to court papers.

“Jane Doe No. 3” also alleged that she had been forced to have sex with “numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, a well-known prime minister, and other world leaders.”

Specific details, and intimate descriptions of the abuse of young girls has been reported:

“She removed her pants, leaving her thong panties on. She straddled his back, whereby her exposed buttocks were touching Epstein’s exposed buttocks. Epstein then turned to his side and started to rub his penis in an up-and-down motion. Epstein pulled out a purple vibrator and began to massage Mary’s vaginal area.”

Palm Beach police assigned many detectives to the investigation. They conducted a “trash pull” of Epstein’s garbage, sifting through paper with phone numbers, used condoms, toothbrushes, worn underwear. In one pull, police found a piece of paper with Mary’s (the victim’s) phone number on it, along with the number of the person who recruited her.

One victim reported that Epstein got so violent with her that he ripped out her hair and threw her around. “I mean,” she said, “there’s been nights that I walked out of there barely able to walk, um, from him being so rough.”

Two months later, Epstein’s former house manager of 11 years reported that Epstein received three massages a day . . . towards the end of his employment, the masseuses . . . appeared to be 16 or 17 years of age at the most .  The house manager reported that he would often have to wash off a massager/vibrator and a long rubber penis, which were in the sink after the massage.”

Epstein spent one day a week in prison, during his 18 month sentence, and six days out on “work release.”  Today, Jeffrey Epstein is a free man, albeit one who routinely settles civil lawsuits against him, brought by young women, out of court. As of 2015, Epstein had settled multiple such cases.  Federal investigators have identified 40 young women who have been characterized as victims is abuse at the hands of Epstein.  “Some of those women went to Mr. Epstein’s home only once, some went there as much as 100 times or more.”

We have seen the abuse of women by professional athletes who probably talked about fucking women in “locker room banter.”

Domestic violence is one of the most common crimes among male athletes.  The rape case against Kobe Bryant is just one example.  The O.J. Simpson murder case is probably the most famous.  From Jan. 1, 2012, to Sept. 17, 2014, 33 NFL players were arrested on charges involving domestic violence, battery, assault and murder.  Thus for Donald Trump to excuse this outrageously offensive language as “locker room banter” is an admission of the despicable nature of Trump’s remarks.  We wouldn’t elect OJ, Ray Rice, or Kobe Bryant as the President of United States.  We shouldn’t elect such a foul mouthed perverted maggot as Donald Trump.

  1. Malia – Trump has no respect for women. He never has.

I read a story about what Trump said about Melania while she was pregnant in 2005. Sorry – I wasn’t able to copy the link to it, but I copied the comments (see below). Trump was interviewed on the Howard Stern radio show in December 2005, just months after Trump and Bush made the tape that was revealed last Friday. This is what Trump said about Melania who was pregnant with Barron.

“You know, they just blow up, right?”

“Like a blimp — in the right places. In her case, the right places. I mean she really has become a monster — in all the right places.”

“I mean monster in the most positive way. She has gotten very, very large — in all the right places.”
