Most Republicans are Apologizing for Trump! Why Not Sarah??

In the history of America, no political party has endangered our country by nominating someone for President so dangerous as the nomination of Donald Trump.  In 2008 the nomination of Sarah Palin as the Vice President was close, but McCain tried to justify it by thinking that he’d never die.  This year the GOP has gone even further in creating a hazard worse than all the bombs in North Korea.

It should come as no surprise that Sarah Palin would endorse Trump.

The more revealing thing is that people who have been Republicans all their lives have abandoned the Republican Party because of the nomination of Donald Trump. At least 27 high profile Republicans have taken a stance against supporting Trump for President.  They include:

Rep. Justin Amash (Mich.)

Gov. Charlie Baker (Mass.)

Glenn Beck, conservative host

Jay Caruso, RedState

Eliot Cohen, former George W. Bush official

Rep. Carlos Curbelo (Fla.)

Steve Deace, conservative radio host

Rep. Bob Dold (Ill.)

Erick Erickson, conservative writer

Rep. Richard Hanna (N.Y.)

Doug Heye, former RNC communications director

Former Rep. Bob Inglis (S.C.)

Matt Kibbe, former Freedom Works CEO

Bill Kristol, The Weekly Standard editor

Kevin Madden, former Mitt Romney aide

Former RNC Chairman Mel Martínez (Fla.)

Liz Mair, GOP strategist

Former Gov. George Pataki (N.Y.)

Former Rep. Ron Paul (Texas)

Rep. Reid Ribble (Wis.)

Former Gov. Tom Ridge (Pa.)

Rep. Scott Rigell (Va.)

Rep. Mark Sanford (S.C.)

Sen. Ben Sasse (Neb.)

Former Rep. J.C. Watts (Okla.)

The only living Republican Presidents refused to attend the Republican convention.

Paul Ryan, the nominated Vice President in 2012, and the current Speaker of the House, threatened to sue Trump if elected, and if he kept his campaign promise to ban Muslim immigrants.  Ryan explained that not only would such a step be the exclusive purview of Congress, but it would be contrary to the US constitution.

Ryan pointed out the Muslims have given their lives to protect and defend the United State of America.

We have had TWO members of the House of Representatives who are Muslim.  Trump’s outrageous promotion of violating the Constitution inspired three-term retired Republican Senator from Utah, to meet with Muslims in his hospital, on his death bed, and apologize for Donald Trump.  Bob Bennett was dying of a stroke.  Before he left this earth, in his final days, he apologized to any Muslims he could find for Donald Trump.  Mark Cuban apologized to the world for the nomination of Trump.  Conservative Americans around the country apologized for the nomination of Trump.  Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a Justice on the Supreme Court, who should never support or criticize any political candidate, became distraught at the idea of Donald Trump as President.  In a rare comment she said:  “I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be –– with Donald Trump as our president.”

The Washington Post wrote an insightful commentary on the disaster Trump would be as the next President of the United States.

“But we cannot salute the Republican nominee or pretend that we might endorse him this fall. A Trump presidency would be dangerous for the nation and the world.”

The article highlighted:

  1.  He has no experience as an elected official.
  2. He has a history of repeated episodes of saving his own hide while harming people who trusted him.
  3. He has refused to release his tax returns, breaking with a long bipartisan tradition, it is only reasonable to assume there are aspects of his record even more discreditable than what we know.
  4. He displays no curiosity, reads no books and appears to believe he needs no advice.
  5. His is the combination of extreme neediness and unbridled arrogance.
  6. He has unspooled one lie after another — that Muslims in New Jerseycelebrated after 9/11, that his tax-cut plan would not worsen the deficit, that heopposed the Iraq War before it started — and when confronted with contrary evidence, he simply repeats the lie.
  7. He has previously supported immigration reform, gun controland legal abortion.  Now that he is a candidate, he became a hard-line opponent of all three.
  8. During his campaign Trump has flip-flopped on issues such as whether Muslims should be banned from entering the United States and whether women who have abortions should be punished .
  9. Worse than the flip-flops is the absence of any substance in his agenda. Existing trade deals are “stupid,” but Mr. Trump does not say how they could be improved. The Islamic State must be destroyed, but the candidate offers no strategy for doing so. Eleven million undocumented immigrants must be deported, but Mr. Trump does not tell us how he would accomplish this legally or practically.
  10. Trump speaks blithely of abandoning NATO, encouraging more nations to obtain nuclear weapons and cozying up to dictators who in fact wish the United States nothing but harm. For eight years, Republicans have criticized President Obama for “apologizing” for America and for weakening alliances. Now they put forward a candidate who mimics the vilest propaganda of authoritarian adversaries about how terrible the United States is and how unfit it is to lecture others. He has made clear that he would drop allies without a second thought. The consequences to global security could be disastrous.
  11. Mr. Trump’s contempt for the Constitution is shocking! He doesn’t know or care about the importance of the United States’ constitution. When asked by a member of Congress about Article I, which enumerates congressional powers, the candidate responded: “I am going to abide by the Constitution whether it’s number 1, number 2, number 12, number 9.” The charter has seven articles.
  12. The most frightening thing about a Trump presidency is that he has already threatened to abuse his executive power.  Trump has threatened that those who criticize him will suffer when he is president.
  13. He has vowed to torture suspected terrorists and bomb their innocent relatives, no matter the illegality of either act.
  14. He has vowed to constrict the independent press.
  15. He went after a judge whose rulings angered him, exacerbating his contempt for the independence of the judiciary by insisting that the judge should be disqualified because of his Mexican heritage.
  16. Trump has encouraged and celebrated violence at his rallies.

Harrison Ford highlighted the clear and present danger of the misuse of power by the President of the United States.  The movie was fictional.

Donald Trump is a non-fiction Clear and Present Danger to the United States.  Sarah Palin was a clear and present danger in 2008.  Now the only danger she represents is that she is promoting another hazardous candidate.  Hopefully when the 2016 election is over people will recognize her for the menace that she is.  Hopefully people will treat her with the scorn that she has earned.  Hopefully we will make America great again by ridding ourselves of both Donald Trump and Sarah Palin.  May they retreat into a great abyss and never be heard from again!  If they “reload” may they point their guns at each other, and not our great country.

  1. I really wonder how this election will end up. Or even if it will take place!
My comments above are in light of the WikiLeaks, which ostensibly were done by Russia, with Putin’s approval, of course. It seems more and more likely that either tRump is a russian patsy and knows it, or he is one and does not realize it. His wife, from Slovenia, has a father who was/is a bigwig in the communist party there, and she took some communist indoctrination elective while at the university for her one and only semester. She has lived the communist life her whole formative years, and more likely than not is cunning enough to manipulate her old geezer of a husband to do what she subtly suggests he do. He is beholden to Putin and his russian oligarch, because they gave him yuuuge sums of loans after every other bank in the nation (and the world, it seems!) stopped giving him loans.
As an example of him getting indoctrinated: look at his latest ‘promises’ to abandon pretty much every treaty the US has entered in. Look at him saying he will not support NATO anymore – unless any NATO country in need is willing to pay the US for it.
He is talking right down Putin’s ally – Putin, who is trying to destroy Europe and NATO by driving wedges between the individual countries. Putin, who is clandestinely destroying US missions in the Middle East.
Putin (through Assange with Wikileaks) now has leaked the DNC emails, but has never leaked any GOP emails. Putin is one of only a very small handful of international leaders who supports and lauds tRump. Another one is Kim Jong Un (sp?).
I hope, the CIA and FBI and whoever else is in charge is keeping an eye on tRump. Because, if it can be proven that he is a Russian patsy, then his potential election could be deemed an act of war. Cold war, but war anyway.
In my eyes, if it can be proven, then this might be a reason to actually suspend the election and postpone it until sometime next year, because the ReThugs will have no other person at the moment, that they can substitute anymore, since tRump was officially nominated last week.
I also wonder, what the Joint Staff or whoever is in charge, will do with his security clearance in light of recent developments. Because, officially, now he is eligible to receive the same briefings like President Obama gets in regards to National Security!
Good luck having this volatile Russian patsy have his tiny hands on the nuclear button!
